My daughter attended Ms. Betsy's pre-kindergarten class. She enjoyed the benefits of a structured, fun learning environment with an engaged, vibrant teacher. The positive educational environment that was provided by Ms. Betsy set her up for a successful education journey. Betsy has a practical, can do attitude that encourages children to be engaged in learning and always do their best.

My daughter was struggling with reading and math. After talking with different parents about a tutor, Miss Betsy’s name came up. Miss Betsy has a passion for teaching. She will go beyond for your child. Miss Betsy is one of a kind.

My daughter was one of the youngest in her class and was recommended for summer school after 2nd grade and prior to 3rd. Unfortunately, the county was not providing transportation to/from daycare centers at the time so that wasn’t an option for my family. I spoke to Betsy about tutoring and have been thankful ever since. She took a child that was having trouble reading and spelling in one summer to a child that excelled. Betsy was always well-prepared for each lesson and easily broke things down in a way that my daughter could easily understand. Her methodical approach was positively delivered because of her true passion for teaching. Happy to report that my child received a near 4.0 during her freshman year of high school taking 3 honors classes and a third year language. I would highly recommend Betsy Mueller to any parent that is seeing their child struggling. Don’t delay in contacting her; she will make a difference in your child too!

My daughter Madison was struggling with learning her letters, sound symbol relationship, and basic reading skills. Miss Betsy was a huge help. I noticed a difference in the first few weeks. Betsy uses Project Read’s Phonology Guide, which is an excellent Orton-Guillingham based multisensory curriculum. This approach really helped Madison understand and retain the information. Miss Betsy was able travel to Blessed Sacrament Huguenot and tutor Madison for 30 minutes twice a week during the school day. I highly recommend Betsy’s tutoring services.

My son was diagnosed with dyslexia in the 2nd grade. He struggled as the school years went on and the work got harder. I found Miss Betsy who helped him learn different ways to train his brain to improve his reading and writing skills. She also taught him about dyslexia and explained her experience with it. This helped him to relax and feel more at ease. After being tutored by Miss Betsy, he gained the necessary skills, which helped him become more confident. He is now in the middle school, on grade level, and getting A's in English.

My son Emory was in second grade when he started working with Miss Betsy. He had been struggling with reading since Kindergarten. We were told by many that he was fine and would catch up. My husband and I were tired of watching him struggle and we sought out Miss Betsy to see if she could help. Miss Betsy has been wonderful with Emory! She took the time to go back to the basics and use a phonics curriculum to help Emory move forward with reading. After we started with Miss Betsy, Emory was found to have dyslexia and she has helped us all through this journey. He is excited and enjoys the time he spends with Miss Betsy. She has great patience with him and connects with him on a personal level. Miss Betsy takes the time to develop detailed lessons and shares with us what they have worked on at the end of every lesson. I appreciate the resources she provides for us to use at home with Emory to reinforce his learning between lessons. We cannot say enough wonderful things about Miss Betsy. We are so fortunate to be able to continue to work with her!
